Wisdom Gathering

Wisdom Gathering takes place on 14 September. It is the customary day for gathering hazelnuts, which are known as the symbol of wisdom. In The Hazel Realm, it was a solemn time, for the fruit of the hazel tree was highly regarded there. A special, magical hazelnut was hidden and if found before the setting of the sun would bestow three years of peace and protection upon the realm. According to the Starwife's records, only seven magical hazelnuts were ever found throughout the ages.
