Mulligan was an Irish sea mouse. He was the last in a line of custodians of the ninth fragment of the jade egg of Sarpedon. Each member of his family entrusted with this very important task would move the aforementioned fragment from place to place to keep it out of the claws of the worshipers of Sarpedon.
