Fennywolde is a field in England's countryside that is inhabited by fieldmice, including Twit Scuttle and his parents. It was named for the mouse who founded it, Fenlyn Purfote, who was sometimes called Fenny.

Some notable places in and around the field are the meadow, the ditch, and the still pool, beside which is the final resting place of the fortune-telling rat Madame Akkikuyu.

Akkikuyu's grave will play an important part in the days of despair, when the old gods finally do battle.
